TE has not posted on the blog since 2012 but on the field we have not missed a beat.

TE has not posted on the blog since 2012 but on the field we have not missed a beat. Pictured below is an attempt to present the last couple of years' ministry activities. In summary we have been doing the following:
1. taught phonics to the TE staff and a teacher from Joyful Kids School as they taught their 1st and 2nd grade classes and special lessons for 4th and 5th grade students from Regent Square Municipal and Methodist City Mission School.
2. set up a computer lab and taught introduction to computer to a different group of 20 educators, church leaders and neighbors every 2 months.
3. Promoted Bible Character Education (memorization of related Bible verse and definition of weekly character words). We visited the schools to support teaching of the curriculum.
4. Sorted and distributed educational materials: approximately 400 boxes of books (text books, readers, Bibles, teacher's guides) and additional school furniture.

Guest and Biblical Character Education Leader- Terry Ortman paid TE a wonderful surprise visit.  He was able to go to the schools and see that they are teaching the weekly character words (respect, integrity, honesty...) and Bible verses.

Fridays are staff development, planning and administrative work days. The Resource Centre is still open to the public, but lessons are not scheduled.

Many neighbors come for tutoring and to read, play and watch films in our peaceful loving community.
An average of 68 people come use the TE Resource Center each day.
