Prayers for these boys and their family are appreciated. Emile, Abu, and Augustine had been regular users of the Transformation Education Resource Centre. Mr. Abraham happily reports that they survived contraction of the Ebola virus. When they returned to the Resource Centre they told Mr. Abraham...
“While we were sick, they were tell us that our family was safe, but at end not so, we have not seen them yet but they still tell us that they are alive. One thing we are facing now is, some of our friends are afraid of us, but we understand, we would be afraid also because this Ebola is not good. Only the three of us can work together because we know ourselves. We say “Hi” to our friends. The other thing is feeding, right now we are hungry.”
They stopped speaking. We encourage and blessed with some money to go home and buy food.
We tried visiting their family, but we have not seen them the last few days.

-Transformation Education started in 2007 with training teachers and establishing a Teacher Resource Centre.
-The Ebola epidemic forced the government ot close all schools from August 2014-April 2015 (8 months!).
-As Ebola subsides, we aim to increase our training and equipping of teachers so their students can make a strong recovery and excel.
